Request account deletion
This page explains how Kōdō users can request deletion of their account and associated personal data.
How to request deletion
- Email support@kodofitness.com from the email address linked to your Kōdō account.
- Use the subject line Account Deletion Request.
- Include your name, account email address, and whether you are a coach or athlete.
We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request.
What will be deleted
When your deletion request is completed, we will delete or anonymise the personal data associated with your Kōdō account, including account profile information and data you have submitted within the app, unless we are required to retain certain data for legal, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate business purposes.
- Account details such as your name and email address
- Profile information associated with your account
- Messages and user-submitted content linked to your account
- Uploaded images and videos linked to your account
What may be retained
Some limited information may be retained where necessary for legal compliance, dispute resolution, enforcement of agreements, fraud prevention, security, or backup and audit purposes.
Where retention is required, we will keep the minimum amount of data necessary and delete it when it is no longer required.
Timeframe
We aim to respond to deletion requests within a reasonable time and typically complete verified requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required for legal or technical reasons.
